CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1. washing
- Keep it simple: Cashmere and wool love water! Our Privati Firenze cashmere clothes are machine washable and easy to take care of.
- Stick to a routine: Use a high-quality machine, like Miele, on a wool program (30°C/86°F at 600rpm) for regular washes.
- Keep it soft: Maintain the soft cashmere feel by using wool detergent and skipping the softener.
- Sort it out: Wash a maximum of three similar-colored garments per cycle, using separate bags or pillowcases for convenience.
2. drying
- After washing, lay the garment flat on a towel to prevent it from stretching.
- Don't hang it to dry.
3. pilling and ironing
- Natural fibers like cashmere can pill, and some people may experience more pilling, especially with certain colors. After washing, use a cashmere comb to remove excess pilling.
- Proper care will reduce pilling over time. Follow these instructions: iron at a low temperature, placing a thin cloth between the iron and the cashmere to ease the fibers back into place.
4. storing and resting
- After wearing cashmere for a day, it's best to let it rest for two days to help the fibers recover.
- Always store the garment folded in a drawer or on a shelf. Hanging it on a hanger can cause it to lose its shape.
