Pitti Immagine Uomo 109 - Il Tempo del Sale FW26

THE TIME OF SALT — FW26

There is a kind of time that does not rush. A time that lingers on the skin, like wind after a day by the sea, like the matte white trace salt leaves on knitwear, on hair, on thoughts. The Time of Salt begins there: from what remains. From what time does not take away, but gently leaves behind.

For FW26, Privati Firenze imagines a winter infused with the memory of summer, with warmth preserved inside essential things, with slow gestures, lived-in homes, and fabrics that hold stories. Salt becomes a symbol of presence, trace, and emotional matter: it preserves, protects, softly corrodes, and makes everything feel more real.

Knitwear becomes an intimate landscape. The silhouettes are soft yet defined, enveloping without feeling heavy. The textures evoke surfaces worn by sun and air, while the palette moves through dusty tones, mineral neutrals, dry whites, sandy beiges, faded greys, and deeper accents, like shadows at sunset along the coast.

The Time of Salt speaks of a beauty that is not perfect, but lived-in. A beauty that belongs to things loved over time: a sweater left on a chair, a window left open in winter, the memory of August inside a cold room. It is a collection about heritage, intimacy, and that distinctly Italian form of elegance that never needs to raise its voice.

With this collection, Privati Firenze continues to explore its own visual and emotional language: nostalgia as a contemporary sensibility, family as an emotional archive, and place as feeling. The Time of Salt is an invitation to slow down, to be moved by simple things, and to recognize the subtle luxury of what remains.
